Wall (one of my first childhood poems)

What is behind that wall?
I've always wondered what
There could be anything
A very mysterious spot

It could be a fantasy land
It could be a dream come true
Someone's got to live there
Oh how I wonder who

There's nothing behind that wall
Just another wall
Now what's behind THAT wall?
There could be anything at all...

Liz (one of my first childhood poems)

Liz, a little lizard
So innocent and frail
Was found upon the footpath
Without his little tail

We do not know what happened
Or how died Liz so brave but
We had little funeral and
Dug a little grave

So now she lies in slumber
As people often say
To go to where she should go
In her own and special way
